Predicting correct scores in football matches
Let’s head to the Old Trafford where Manchester United will face Newcastle United in a very intriguing clash from the Premier League’s 19th round. Here we go with our Predicting correct scores in football matches.
Even with their new manager Ruben Amorim, it’s tough times for Manchester United. The Red Devils are in three consecutive losses in all competitions. They lost against Tottenham in the Carabao Cup and this defeat was followed by two more losses in the Premier League – against Bournemouth and Wolves. In these two games United didn’t even score a goal.
Now Ruben Amorim has to make adjustments after the loss against Wolves. Bruno Fernandes was sent off in this match, so he’s not available. Most likely Alejandro Garnacho or Christian Eriksen will replace Bruno in the starting eleven. Joshua Zirkzee is another option for Amorim.
Rasmus Højlund is a player who should give more. The Danish striker has scored just two league goals this season. That’s far from enough.
Newcastle are doing well this season. The Magpies are 5th in the standings with 29 points won. Their record shows 8 wins, 5 draws and 5 defeats. Their goal remains another qualification for the Champions League. With three wins in the last three games, Newcastle are showing a consistency that would help them do it.
In their last match the Magpies enjoyed their 8th win for the campaign. Newcastle faced Aston Villa at home, and crushed Unai Emery’s team – 3-0. Anthony Gordon opened the score for Newcastle while Alexander Isak and Joelinton also scored.
Alexander Isak is enjoying a pretty great season at Newcastle. The Swedish striker has 11 goals in 16 matches played. Don’t be surprised if he moves to a bigger club next season. He’s a wanted man.
That’s the Predicting correct scores in football matches for the Premier League derby between Manchester United and Newcastle United. Good luck!
